Privacy Policy
SK Digital Limited, Cambridge, New Zealand. Last updated 7 September 2026.
SK Digital ("we", "us") builds websites and runs digital marketing for New Zealand businesses. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our websites and landing pages, why we collect it, and how we look after it. We follow the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
- Enquiry details you give us. When you fill in a form we collect your name, company, mobile number, email address, and whatever you tell us about your business, services, regions, team size and current challenges.
- Usage information. Like most websites we use cookies and similar tools to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, time on page, the device and browser you use, and approximate location. Where you arrived from an advert we may also record which advert or campaign brought you here.
- Correspondence. Emails, messages and call notes from our conversations with you.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and talk with you about your website or marketing.
- To provide services you engage us for, invoice you, and keep proper business records.
- To understand which of our adverts and pages are useful, so we can improve them.
- To show you relevant adverts on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, and to measure whether those adverts worked.
- To send you occasional information about our services. You can opt out at any time by replying or emailing us.
Tools we use that may process your information
- Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram advertising and measurement). See Meta's privacy policy.
- Google Analytics and Google Ads (site analytics and advertising). See Google's privacy policy.
- FormSubmit (delivers form submissions to our email).
- Vercel (hosting) and Bunny Stream (video hosting), which record standard server logs such as IP address and browser type.
- Microsoft 365 (our email) and our customer records system.
These providers may store information outside New Zealand. We only use providers who commit to protecting personal information to a standard comparable with New Zealand law.
Cookies
Cookies are small files placed on your device. We use them for analytics and advertising measurement as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them, though some advertising measurement will not.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers above, with contractors who work on our client projects under confidentiality, and where the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we are talking with you or working together, and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can pick up where we left off. Business and accounting records are kept for the periods required by New Zealand law. Analytics data is kept in aggregated form.
Keeping it safe
Personal information is stored in password-protected, access-controlled systems. Only people who need it to do their job can see it. No system is perfectly secure, and if we ever become aware of a breach that is likely to cause you serious harm we will tell you and the Privacy Commissioner as the law requires.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email shaun@skdigital.co.nz and we will respond within 20 working days. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top tells you when it last changed.
